About 1936
1936 refers to the year our roastery was founded and serves as a perfect introduction to our range of specialty coffees.
This coffee is once again composed of a fresh harvest from the Jaguara group in Brazil, a family-run farm in the Sul de Minas region, established in 2001 by agronomist Antonio Wander. In 2013, André and Natalia took over the management of the farm, driven by the goal of creating a better world, especially following the birth of their children.
Their mission is to produce high-quality coffee while improving the lives of their workers and promoting environmental sustainability. Their approach includes organic practices, investments in agroforestry, and achieving CO2 Negative certification in 2023.
We selected a lot from their "Jag Cult," composed of Yellow Catuai, grown at 1,100 meters above sea level on their Santa Lucia farm. These cherries are hand-picked and undergo natural (dry) processing, resulting in a creamy coffee with notes of milk chocolate and cane sugar.
You can enjoy this coffee daily as an espresso in our coffeeshops.
If you're looking for more adventurous flavor profiles, we recommend exploring our single-origin coffees.
